The interior of this beautiful jewelry box has ample space for earrings, cufflinks, necklaces, bracelets and watches.

Cherry gives this box a beautiful grain pattern and rich colour. A spectacular piece of Honey Locust brings the top to life. That scene is framed with Cherry and Bubinga bands, separated and defined by Bubinga and black veneer strips.

The unique, highly figured Honey Locust piece had a large knothole in it. I filled it with clear epoxy, retaining the bark around the edges. Red was used as a background for the exterior fill. Black with some red were used for the interior fill. The resultant fills have depth and vivid colour.

The drawer sides and dividers in the interior are made from solid Cherry.

Notice how the interior of the top is finished as beautifully as the exterior. That takes extra time and material .... but, the result is well worth it.

Except for black veneer, no stains or dyes have been used. The rich colours that you see are the natural colours of the finished woods.
