This top of this companion urn is made from a beautifully figured piece of Black Walnut. Zebrawood and Walnut banding is inlaid on the top. No stains or dyes have been used. The rich colours that you see are the natural colours of the finished woods.

Interior and exterior are finished with Danish Oil, a penetrating resin. Exterior is further finished with a three-stage wax process, the final stage being carnuba.  The resultant finish is smooth, durable, and appealing.

Overall exterior dimensions are about 13.9" x 10.8" x 5" (35.3 x 27.4 x 12.7 cm).

Internal dimensions are about 12" x 9" x 3.8" (30.5 x 22.9 x 9.7 cm).

Internal capacity is 400 cubic inches ( 6.6 L).

Access is from bottom which is secured with twelve screws.

Mitred corners reinforced with Zebrawood keys.

Sides are solid 1/2" (13mm) thick Black Walnut.

Top is made from solid 1/2" (13mm) thick Figured Black Walnut, with inlays of Zebrawood and Walnut.
