The trays and platter were made from the same Yellowheart  board. The grains and hues flow cleanly across all pieces in the set. The Purpleheart banding provides a dramatic accent.

The density of the Yellowheart gives a noticeable heft to this set.

The bottom edges of the trays and platter are deeply cove shaped to give a delicate look and floating effect to the setting.

No stains or dyes have been used. The rich colours that you see are the natural colours of the finished woods.

SPECIFICATIONS

Woods:
Yellowheart with accents of Purpleheart

Finish:
Very finely sanded, then finished with a mixture of beeswax and mineral oil. Buffed to a low lustre sheen.

Maintenance:
Woods are bonded with waterproof glue; but, do not leave immersed in water. Rinse with soap and water. Dry immediately. Periodically retreat platter with mineral oil.
