The interior of this beautiful jewelry box has four compartments with handmade pillows for watches and bracelets. The ten padded inserts will accommodate a collection of rings and cuff links. Watch bands, necklaces and bracelets can be stored in and under the removable trays.

The of this watch box is made from Nogal. The top is bookmarked Zebrawood.

The trays and dividers in the interior are made from solid Black Walnut.

Except for black veneer, no stains or dyes have been used. The rich colours that you see are the natural colours of the finished woods.

SPECIFICATIONS

Dimensions:

Overall exterior dimensions are about 11.3" x 9" x 3.5"  (29.2 x 22.9 x 8.9 cm)

Four 2.3" (5.7 cm) deep watch compartments, each about 3.9" x 2.6" (9.8 x 6.7 cm)

The removable tray is about 1" (2.5 cm) deep. One side has ten 2.5" (6.4 cm) wide padded inserts for rings and cuff links. The other side has one compartment about 7.4" by 2.5" (18.7 x 6.4 cm).

The  area below the tray is about 1" (2.5 cm) deep with six comaprtments, each about 2.6" x 2.4" (6.7 x 6.0 cm).

Finish:

Interior and exterior are finished with Danish Oil, a penetrating resin. Exterior is further finished with a three-stage wax process, the final stage being carnauba.  The resultant finish is smooth, durable, and appealing.

Exterior:

	Brass push button locking catch Mitred corners reinforced with keys of Zebarwood Sides are solid 5/8" (16 mm) thick Nogal
Top is made from solid woods into an assembly about 1/2" (13 mm) thick. It is then re-sawn into two pieces about 1/8" (3mm) thick which are laminated to both sides of 1/4" (6 mm) plywood. This construction not only makes the interior of the top as attractive as the exterior, but also prevents warping of the top.

 

Interior:

Solid brass quadrant hinges.

Tray sides and dividers are solid Black Walnut.

Interior is lined with velveteen. 
Watch pillows and padded inserts are covered in the same material.
