This urn was made from Bird's Eye Maple. The accents on the top are provided by bands of Roasted Bird's Eye Maple and Zebrawood, separated and defined by black veneer.

Except for black veneer, no stains or dyes have been used. The rich colours that you see are the natural colours of the finished woods.

Interior and exterior are finished with an Osmo microporous wood oil. The resultant low-lustre finish is smooth, durable, and appealing.

Overall exterior dimensions are about 11.5" x 9.5" x 4.0" (29.2 x 24.1 x 10.2 cm).

Internal dimensions are about 9.0" x 7.0" x 2.9" (22.9 x 17.8 x 7.3 cm).

Internal capacity is 180 cubic inches ( 3.0 L).

Access is from bottom which is secured with 6 screws.

Mitred corners reinforced with Roasted Maple keys.

Sides are solid 3/4" (19 mm) thick Bird's Eye Maple

Top is made from solid 1/2" (12.7 mm) Bird's Eye Maple with laminated accent woods.
