While modestly sized, this meticulously handcrafted jewelry box has ample space for a small collection of jewelry and personal memorabilia.

This box is made from Dark Roasted Curly Maple with legs of Zebrawood. Accents on the top are provided by bands of Zebrawood and Roasted Bird's Eye Maple, separated and defined by black veneer.

Except for black veneer, no stains or dyes have been used. The rich colours that you see are the natural colours of the finished woods.

Body -  Dark Roasted Curly Maple with Zebrawood legs
Top   - Dark Roasted Curly Maple with Zebrawood handle. Bands of Roasted Bird's Eye Maple and Zebrawood, separated and defined by strips of black veneer.

Finish:

Interior and exterior are finished with an Osmo micro-porous wood oil. The resultant low-lustre finish is smooth, durable, and appealing. Trays, dividers and supports are finished with Danish Oil, a penetrating resin.

Dimensions (approximate): 

Overall exterior dimensions are about 9.9" x 7.1" x 3.8"  (25.1 x 18.1 x 9.5 cm)

The compartments in the lower level are about 1" (2.5 cm) deep. The inside dimensions of the compartments are about:-
(one) 5.3" x 4.1"   ( 13.3 x 10.3 cm)
(two) 2.0" x 2.5"   ( 5.1 x 6.4 cm)

The removable tray is about 0.9" (2.2 cm) deep with four compartments:
(one) 2.0" x 2.1" (5.1 x 5.4 cm)
(one) with two rows of padded inserts, each about 1.6" (4.0 cm) wide

Exterior:

	Decorative Zebrawood handle on top. Tapered Zebrawood legs. Sides are 3/8 " (9.5  mm) thick Dark Roasted Curly Maple. Top is made from laminated pieces of Dark Roasted Curly Maple, Roasted Bird's Eye Maple and Zebrawood, about 1/2" (13 mm) thick.

Interior:

Brass butt hinges.

Lining is a durable faux-suede fabric.

Tray and dividers are made from Black Walnut
