While modestly sized, this meticulously handcrafted jewelry box has ample space for a small collection of jewelry and personal memorabilia. There are two rows of padded inserts in the tray for rings, cuff links and earrings.

This box is made from Cherry with legs of Leopardwood. Accents on the top are provided by bands of Cherry, Leopardwood and Bubinga, separated and defined by black veneer.

Except for black veneer. no stains or dyes have been used. The rich colours that you see are the natural colours of the finished woods.

Woods:

Body - Cherry with Leopardwood legs
Top   - Cherry with Leopardwood handle. Bands of Leopardwood, Cherry and Bubinga separated and defined by strips of Black veneer.

Finish:

Interior and exterior are finished with an Osmo micro-porous wood oil. The resultant low-lustre finish is smooth, durable, and appealing. Trays, dividers and supports are finished with Danish Oil, a penetrating resin.

Overall exterior dimensions are about 9.9" x 7.1" x 3.8"  (25.1 x 18.1 x 9.5 cm)

The compartments in the lower level are about 1" (2.5 cm) deep. The inside dimensions of the compartments are about:-
(one) 5.3" x 4.1"   ( 13.3 x 10.3 cm)
(two) 2.0" x 2.5"   ( 5.1 x 6.4 cm)

The removable tray is about 0.9" (2.2 cm) deep with four compartments:
(one) 2.0" x 2.1" (5.1 x 5.4 cm)

Exterior:

	Decorative Leopardwood handle on top. Tapered Leopardwood Maple legs. Sides are 3/8 " (9.5  mm) thick Cherry. Top is made from Cherry about 1/2" (13 mm) thick, with inlaid accent woods.

Interior:

Brass butt hinges.

Lining is a durable faux-suede fabric.
